Palmetto Counseling & Consulting Services, LLC is an outpatient mental health practice located in Rock Hill, SC. As a general mental health services provider, we offer several services including:

Individual Counseling: Individual 1:1 counseling services for children, adolescents, adults and seniors.

Family Therapy: To bring positive change, development, understanding, and improve relationships within the family.

Christian Counseling: To help individuals find answers in biblical truth as they seek to enhance their day-to-day lives. “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32)

Marriage/Couples Counseling: To help provide couples the tools necessary to improve communication, manage conflict, and enhance understanding to have a happier, more fulfilling relationship.

Group Therapy: Is a powerful method of treatment in which individuals with similar problems, issues, or treatment needs meet face-to-face in a group setting with a therapist to improve their functioning.

Life Coaching: A modern and rapidly growing method for helping others to improve, develop, learn new skills, find personal success, achieve goals, and manage life change and personal challenges.

Counselors at Palmetto Counseling have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

All of our counselors are licensed and have over 40 years of combined experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Our therapists include:

Rich Schlauch, MSW, LISW-CP, LCSW: Specialties include the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, anger management, ADHD, relationship problems, marriage counseling, life coaching, self-esteem and bereavement counseling.

Our services are intensive, short-term, and designed to maximize the personal and professional well-being of our patients Sessions are available Monday through Friday.

As an added convenience to our patients, we also offer evening appointments.

Spotlight on Sarah Myers, MSW, LISW-CP

Sarah has worked in a number of areas which include hospital, nursing home, and hospice treatment settings. She is experienced in the skills of crisis intervention, addiction, and behavioral health issues that complicate one’s quality of life.


Sarah’s approach to counseling is eclectic and based upon a person’s individual need. She primarily draws upon strengths based theory, systems theory, cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused or brief therapy. Sarah also enjoys working with individuals and families affected by addiction. Her passion is to teach and guide individuals to improve their quality of life. As part of her treatment approach, Sarah believes in ‘meeting the client where they are’ as a starting point to help them achieve optimum results and maneuver through life in a rewarding and meaningful way.
