As a therapist, Laurel likes to help her clients make changes in their lives.
She wants to help her clients explore their options and become the person they want to be. She sees that we live in a very complicated and changing world having to navigate many different situations and experiences; that we don’t always feel equipped to handle emotionally. She believes we are all here on this earth to help each other and her goal is to help her clients become the best they can be.
Laurel works with Veterans and their families, PTSD, and addictions for addicts’ families, and friends. She also has been working with Transgendered people in all stages of transitioning. She believes her role is to actively listen and offer a supportive, encouraging, supportive and non-judgmental environment in which trust and rapport can be built upon.
